Solitude

AUTHOR/WRITER: Abdulhameed Olasunkanmi Tajudeen

I used to walk on my own
When i am doing things i am alone
I never ask for a show
When i have got nothing to show

I used to walk on my own
When am going places i am alone
I never ask for a stroll
When i have got nowhere to go.

The sea is silent like there is no one beneath
I hear the crow cry and wonder if it is what it is
freedom for all these spirits captured from beneath
I hope your wings mend
I hope you learn to swim.
