ABOUT ME

I am Teriba Nimota Ideraoluwa, I was born in Ogun state, into a family of eight, I’m the second child of the family and the first female child. Anike is a name my mum calls me whenever I’m sad , Anike is my Oriki (praise name). My email (anikestories@gmail.com)
I grew up in Lagos, where I attended Rahmat Islamiyyah Nursery and Primary school for my primary education,I also attended Darman Model College, for my secondary education. I’m presently a third year student at Crescent University Abeokuta, where I study law.
I have attatined a lot of leadership post, I was the assistant senior perfect (female) at my primary school, I was the library prefect in Darman Model College 2012/2013 academic session, where I preceded in being the senior prefect (female) 2013/2014 academic session. I was also the president of press club and also the female leader of MSS in Darman model college. I was involved in giving motivational quotes during my reign as the senior prefect female in Darman Model college, that was when I got my favourite quote “Succes is a journey, not a destination”.
I had always wanted to be a writer ever since I was young, I read stories from other people and I always tell myself this is some thing I can do. My dream didn’t come true then until when I grew older, I had more experienced and writing became easy. It all started with me putting my thoughts into writing like I was expressing myself, here I am now.
The blog was something I didn’t even belive I was going to have, but I thought there was no way anyone could have seen my writings without me doing some thing more. Sharing it with a few people on my contact list wouldn’t have been enough, so I thought having a blog would be good for me. The blog came alive due to my passion for writting.
I’ll describe myself as someone who has few friends, fun, outspoken, focus, weird, humble, honest and kind. I’ll like to say I’m not what people think of me to be.
Life to me is a gift, a gift that is to be cherished everyday. Be Happy, be yourself, accomplish the things you can, help if you can, live your life and be real. Don’t mind them if they don’t understand you now, they will understand you later.
My advice to everyone is that you shouldn’t stop chasing your dreams because of what people say. Do not listen to them, trust me you will get a lot of disappointment and that’s the point you’ll know who your real friends are but once you make it they’ll be forced to associate themselves to you, let that be your motivation. My favorite quote still remains the same.
